Originally I am from the Philadelphia area, specifically Phoenixville and surrounding towns in Chester County, PA. I’ve spent the last six years in Syracuse working in the arts. My ancestors were cowboys, fishermen and dairy farmers. Thus, the only two reasons I can never be vegan are juicy cheeseburgers and sushi. I am hoping to come out of this experience of traveling around the world with a renewed vision and a few amazing opportunities. Stay tuned.

you go – you know the wanderlust isn’t guaranteed for life. My up and went away. So, go while you are driven.
You also have ancestors who were doctors, a lawyer, poet, teachers, mountain climbers, gardeners and musicians. Oh, and a gold digger (Dad’s side).

Hello Courtney –
Through the magic of Google your PDF resume came to me.
(Google tells me about Memories Preserved mentions on the web…)
Anyway the resume led me to your blog, which I read bits and pieces, and I see you (and maybe a friend?) will spend first quarter traveling around the world. I assume you will use this opportunity to massively boost your portfolio.
Have a blast.
I am still here in Louisville, with projects, if you’re ever over this way, blizzards or not. (It’s 72 here today, Dec. 27, 2008.)
Louisville is a much easier drive to Chicago than NYC…
Cheers and happy trails
Cindy
Hey Courtney!
I love your piece about learning to trust the road,…that it will still be there on the other side. Wonderful.
What a great adventure you are on,….its an inspiration. I look forward to seeing you when you get back and hearing all your stories. And to see how the cards play out…:)

I have been checking your blog…However I lack anything clever to add…just that you are having an amazing time and happy you are having the adventures and good times…you so right fully deserve. (ps…did you copyright your photographs?…definately
valuable)
I am following your blog every day. I am paticularly happy that food is a continuing focus (as it should be) How is traveling with one bag working out? Eat chocolate and travel forward. Luv, Cathy
Hi Courtney!
Not only are you an artist, photographer, but also a journalist.
You should publish a book about this amazing and truly unforgettable accomplishment that you made happen. I’m so proud and happy for you. What a goal to set for yourself at such a young age! I can’t wait for your return and to hear about your adventures some more.
Love,
Marilyn
